The Heroes star Ali Larter married her longtime actor beau Hayes MacArthur in an intimate ceremony at his parents’ estate in Kennebunkport, Maine on Saturday. This is the first marriage for both of them.
According to Us Weekly, guests arrived at the wedding on a trolley and Ali Larter said “I do" outside in the lawn. They played Irish music before the ceremony started in honor of Hayes MacArthur heritage. Ali’s dad escorted her down the aisle which was lined with purple, pink and white flowers.
Ali Larter, 33, dazzled in a Vera Wang sweetheart neck and A-line gown of Chantilly with hand-pieced corded lace appliqué. While Hayes MacArthur, 32, wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label peak-lapel tuxedo and Polo Ralph Lauren bow tie. The two announced they were engaged in December 2007 after five years of dating. "Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then … I got blindsided," she told of MacArthur. She said he "showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be." Asked about her future, Ali Larter told the magazine, "I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies."
