It was the daggy go to look for men everywhere in the Seventies but Olivia Munn has done the impossible - make a safari suit stylish.

It was the daggy go to look for men everywhere in the Seventies but Olivia Munn has done the impossible – make a safari suit stylish. The 33-year-old made it legs day at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday, as she joined a group of other actors to discuss their craft with film buffs.

The Newsroom actress certainly made them sit up and listen in the modern re-envisaging of a not so flattering classic. Olivia’s version of a safari suit featured a short sleeve double breasted jacket with a pair of cuffed short shorts in the same martial.

If the leg flashing shorts were not enough to separate the look from its daggy predecessor, it further showed off the star’s figure thanks to a dainty leather belt, which cinched in the jacket at her waist. The 33-year-old further accessorised the ensemble with a pair of yellow pointed pumps that gave the outfit an expected pop of colour.

Channelling her inner screen siren from early last century, Olivia wore her fair in 1930s-inspired waves with her brown locks parted to one side. Joining the actress at the Coffee Talks sessions was Raiders Of The Lost Arc actor Alfred Molina, Oz The Great and Powerful star Abigail Spencer and A Perfect Plan’s Demian Bichir. Not by Olivia’s side for once was her new beau Aaron Rodgers, who has been her constant companion of late.

Dating for just a few months the Green Bay Packer’s star told ESPN Wisconsin this week, he said: ‘I’m real happy in my relationship. ‘And I understand what comes with it. And the last couple years, I’ve learned a lot about perspective and what’s important. ‘It’s not what I signed up for, but I understand it comes with the territory. There’s always going to be attention or scrutiny, and you can either…embrace it or you can lock yourself away. And I just can’t do that. I need to be living my life.’
